Upgrading mysql-3.23.38 to mysql 5.3.5

hello,

i am unsure how to accomplish upgrading mysql-3.23.38 to mysql 5.3.5 on Windows. mysql 3.23 is installed on Windows 2000 srvr and the latest version is on 5.3.5 on Windows2003 x64. i am hoping that when the upgrade is done i can have access to data and user information.

Please help me… if any other info is needed reply to my post of IM me. :’(

make sure to export all your info in the database, do data, complete and extended inserts. I have not upgraded mysql before but I was reading a decent article on everything you could need right here http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/windows-upgrading.html
