I have always enjoyed playing with lite cmses, like Pluck CMS, Nibbleblog, GetSimple, and gpEasy.
I ended up sticking with Pluck

the themes are easy to implement
the install is quick and easy normally, and it’s also in softaculous[/li]

The development had really slowed, so I contacted the dev, and we re-started development on github (https://github.com/pluck-cms)
