.php files download instead of running in a browser game

Greetings all,

Firstly, I would like to make it clear to everyone that until now, I do not know whether this help/support forums is for PHP issues in general or not.
Well, in-case I have came to the right place, my problem will be explained below:

I have a webhost with FTP and MySQL, 000webhost. I wanted to use my website to upload, install and run my own browser game.
The game is an open source, so, it is not made by me, and here the problem pops up.
I really do not know how to setup it, so, I have just downloaded the files and uploaded it to my FTP server, then created a MySQL database, then I went to mydomain/game/install.php and I installed it.
Whenever I click “Register” button on signing up page or “Login” button on play now page, a file is download, named as “newredirect” in case of clicking “Register” button while named as “login2” in case of clicking “Login” button.

That issue happens whenever any of the two buttons is clicked, and it does not matter whether the register/login form (Username/E-mail/Password/Server) is filled or not.

My regards,
SinovenatoR

It would be helpful if you can share with us a URL, so we can see the behavior and the offending PHP code to look at it.

Here it is: http://lostspace.net46.net/

That URL doesn’t work for me. Did you type it wrong?

It is fine for me…

Didn’t work for me either…
C:\Users\Administrator>ping lostspace.net46.net

Pinging lostspace.net46.net [31.170.162.123] with 32 bytes of data:

C:\Users\Administrator>
I did try to access it through a proxy and it worked, I think your firewall is blocking some users, some ISP are blocking your IP address, or your DNS information hasn’t fully proprogated.

I’m using AT&T, one of the largest carriers in the USA.

Seems like it is a complicated issue, then, I would like to ask for a full guide on how to install that open source:
https://code.google.com/p/ogame-opensource/

You just got something configure wrong, I’m testing it on my server in Canada.

When you click the join now button it tries to take you here and that would only work on your server if you’re logged into it.

http://localhost/ogame-opensource/game/reg/newredirect.php

Your best course of action is to email the developer of the game, here’s a link to his email address.

Unfortunately I have contacted him and he did not reply, he seems not to be developing the project anymore.
