I have read about this for quite some time and a lot of the experts say that if you want to build a very large website that has a lot of content on it on the scale of what Enterprise applications would be you should really use Frameworks like microsoft.net or even dotnet core and not smaller oriented Frameworks like PHP or anything related to PHP. Is there any truth to that? I would assume that that is false considering that websites like Facebook use PHP on such a large scale to manage their data.
