I am getting issue while installing oci8.so extension on php8.1.28. The environment is Oracle Linux 7.9. oci8.so extension has dependency on package php-devel. php-devel has dependency on ‘libcom_err-devel-1.42.9-19.0.1.el7.x86_64’ but the higher version of this package (libcom_err-1.45.4-3.0.5.el7.x86_64) is already installed. Hence, its getting error while installing this libcom_err-devel-1.42.9-19.0.1.el7.x86_64 package.
If anyone help me on this i’ll be very thankfull. If any alternate to install oci8.so extension that will be also fine. The main purposes to install oci8.so extension to install Moodle on Oracle.
