After pressing a update button in the WP interface, my webbsite is now down. This messages is shown in the browser:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘?’ in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/151185/webspace/siteapps/1453/htdocs/wp-content/themes/Chameleon/epanel/core_functions.php on line 303
Any clues what´s wrong? I would really appreciate help.

Your theme is faulty and so you need to delete it.
Using ftp or file manager in your hosing panel navigate to wp-content > themes and there delete the Chameleon folder. Your site will automatically revert to one of the default themes usually 2014 you can then do a fresh install of your theme, Chameleon, and if it is properly written all the previous settings will be there as they should be stored in the Wordpress database.
